Version: 1.0 Effective Date: August 1, 2026 Status: Active
This document is part of the VesEvi Version 1.0 legal documentation package, effective August 1, 2026, using docs/platform/VesEvi-Version-1-Product-Book.md as the source of truth for product capability. It supplements and is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service. It uses conservative, industry-standard language appropriate for an early-stage software company; as with any company's policies, periodic legal review is expected as VesEvi grows, and future revisions will be published as Version 1.1, Version 2.0, and so on.
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out conduct that is prohibited when using VesEvi. It exists to protect the integrity of the evidence the Service is built to preserve, and to protect other users, contributors, and the public.
2. Lawful Use
You must use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing the vehicle, property, or other asset you are inspecting, data protection, and intellectual property.
3. False Inspections
You may not create an inspection that misrepresents the asset being inspected, the condition observed, the time or location of capture, or your relationship to the asset. Evidence submitted through the Service should reflect what was actually observed at the time of capture.
4. Fraud
You may not use the Service to support insurance fraud, rental or lease fraud, misrepresentation in a sale or handoff transaction, or any other fraudulent scheme.
5. Harassment
You may not use the Service, including inspection notes, findings, or Worldwide History contributions, to harass, threaten, defame, or reveal private or identifying information about any person.
6. Illegal Content
You may not upload or submit content that is illegal to possess, distribute, or display, including but not limited to content depicting the exploitation of minors, and you may not use the Service to document or facilitate illegal activity.
7. Malware
You may not upload files containing viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or otherwise attempt to compromise the integrity of the Service or any device that accesses it.
8. Spam
You may not use the Service to send unsolicited bulk communications or to create accounts, assets, or inspections for the purpose of spamming other users or the public-facing Worldwide History feature.
9. Automated Abuse
You may not use bots, scripts, or other automated means to access the Service outside of any officially supported integration, including to scrape data, create accounts in bulk, or submit inspections or Worldwide History content at a volume or pattern inconsistent with genuine use.
10. Privacy Violations
You may not use the Service to collect, expose, or publish personal information about another person without a lawful basis and, where required, that person's consent — including through inspection notes or Worldwide History submissions. See the Community Guidelines for the "describe the asset, not the people" principle that governs community-facing content.
11. Evidence Manipulation
You may not attempt to circumvent the Service's evidence-capture and immutability model — for example, by uploading pre-recorded or altered media as if it were live-captured original evidence, by attempting to edit submitted evidence outside the Service's supported delete-and-re-record-before-submission workflow, or by otherwise misrepresenting the provenance of evidence. See the Evidence Integrity Policy.
12. Attempts to Bypass Security
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, workspace, asset, or inspection you are not authorized to view or modify; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorization; or attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, or content-moderation controls.
13. Consequences
Violation of this AUP may result in content removal, warning, suspension, or termination of your account, at VesEvi's discretion, consistent with the Terms of Service and, where applicable, the Content Moderation Policy. Serious violations, including fraud or illegal conduct, may be reported to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities.
14. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of conduct that may violate this AUP, you can report it as described in the Content Moderation Policy, or contact us at Info@vespaan.com.
This document must remain consistent with the Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Evidence Integrity Policy, and Content Moderation Policy, all part of the same VesEvi Version 1.0 legal package.
